Bags of salt for transportation to

the market

The Neko Tech Sustainable Development Movement was initiated on February 19, 2003 to drive development in Ada and nationally. Since then community projects in Bike sales, Bracelet production, a Piggery, a pump for the Obane farms have been created.

Several women have been provided with micro finance an improved farming techniques were taught to Ada farmers in 2005 and 2006. Two salt experts were also brought in from Utah to assess the salt project in Ada and nationally in partnership with the Ministry of Mines.

This movement's main mission is to turn Neko Tech into a social enterprise which empowers its members and community and promotes self reliance and trade, not aid.
